Cluj-Napoca flood relief - the Millbrook settlement
After the flood, families in the Millbrook settlement need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The flood hit the Millbrook settlement on 26 April. My home was one of 52 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $900 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $290
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $330
• Clean water and purification supplies: $280
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending love, Maria. Great idea, hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Cluj-Napoca.
Thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Thinking of Cluj-Napoca.
