Clear storm damage from Yvonne's garden in Accra
Garden rescue day in Accra: bring gloves and a rake.
🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana218 views
I'm 90 and I have lived in this house in Accra for 21 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'll check back for the next update. Love from Istanbul.
