Clear storm damage from Victoria's garden in Pittsburgh
Victoria, 76, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we are looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Pittsburgh for 44 years. After the storm in March, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hope things get better soon, Victoria. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Please keep us posted. Blessings.
Sending strength, Victoria. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Put this on a community board in Manchester this morning. Thinking of Pittsburgh
Hope it all works out. This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 14 people at work.
I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Pittsburgh
wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings!
Hope it all works out. Hope the doctors have good news. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from San Francisco
Good luck, Victoria. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
