Clear storm damage from Njoroge's garden in Dar es Salaam
Garden rescue day in Dar es Salaam: bring gloves and a rake.
🇹🇿 Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania1,124 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Dar es Salaam for 49 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you for reading my story.
