Clear storm damage from Maud's garden in Amsterdam
Maud, 76, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Amsterdam for 26 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Sending strength, Maud. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Berlin.
Praying for you, Maud. Hope the doctors have good news!
So sorry you're going through this, Maud. Your post was clear and honest. I have a 5 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless
