Clear storm damage from Liam's garden in Chicago
Garden rescue day in Chicago: bring gloves and a rake.
🇺🇸 Chicago, Illinois, United StatesPosted Oct 1, 20261,173 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Chicago for 40 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.
