Clear storm damage from Kübra's garden in The Hague
Garden rescue day in The Hague: bring gloves and a rake.
🇳🇱 The Hague, South Holland, Netherlands724 views
I'm 80 and I have lived in this house in The Hague for 32 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
