Clear storm damage from Fernanda's garden in Ribeirão Preto
Garden rescue day in Ribeirão Preto: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Ribeirão Preto for 23 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Sending love, Fernanda. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. All the best.
So sorry you're going through this, Fernanda. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from San Jose.
Good luck, Fernanda. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Stay strong. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Ribeirão Preto!
Hang in there. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
