Clear storm damage from Deborah's garden in Los Angeles
Deborah, 91, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Los Angeles for 36 years. After the storm in February, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Hope it all works out, Deborah. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier.
