Garden rescue day in Quezon City: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 71 and I have lived in this house in Quezon City for 37 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition. The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope things get better soon, Carmela. This could happen to any of us. Blessings

    • Sending good thoughts, Carmela. Looking forward to the next update. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless.

      • Hope it all works out. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
