Clear storm damage from Ayumi's garden in Nagoya

Fallen branches and overgrowth are blocking Ayumi's path; a few hours of help would make a big difference.

I'm 83 and I have lived in this house in Nagoya for 38 years. After the storm in November, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall. The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner. Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do. Thank you for reading my story.

  • thanks for sharing this, Ayumi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Blessings.

    • Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Nakuru.

      • Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 23 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings

        • keep going, Ayumi. Gave what I could, wish it was more.

          • hope things get better soon, Ayumi. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. All the best.
