Lahore

Sycamore Creek has been used as an informal dump for years. This April, 100 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 55 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good. We have a plan agreed with the local forestry office, including native species selected by a local botanist. The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade. All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials. We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted. Where the $200 goes: • Signage and educational materials: $20 • Waste removal and skip hire: $35 • Native saplings and stakes: $145 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Asad

Update from Lahore: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 18% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
Good news. Because of your gifts ($125 in total) I made the first payment toward waste removal and skip hire. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
