Clean streams for Agra: restoring the Acacia canal
Help us clean and replant the Acacia canal before the July planting window closes.
Anywhere in the world970 views
The Acacia canal has been used as an informal dump for years. This April, 96 neighbors turned up for a first cleanup, filling 45 bags in a single morning. Now we want to restore it for good.
We have a plan agreed with the city parks department, including native species selected by a local botanist.
The area floods more each year, and fish have returned for the first time in a decade after our first cleanup. Restoring it will protect homes and bring back shade.
All the labor is volunteered. We just need materials.
We'll post planting day photos and a count of every sapling planted.
Where the $350 goes:
• Waste removal and skip hire: $85
• Signage and educational materials: $35
• Native saplings and stakes: $230
Every share and every dollar helps.

rooting for you, Ankit. Shared it with a few friends. Take care
Sending strength. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
