Claudia's kidney cancer treatment fund
Claudia is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Claudia was diagnosed with kidney cancer in May. The oncology team at the Springfield Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Claudia is 54, worked as a shop owner until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Springfield Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,200 goes:
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,050
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $910
• Transport to the Springfield Oncology Institute: $930
• Scans and lab work: $1,310
