Citizenship application: Kübra needs $600 before the deadline
A citizenship application deadline is approaching and Kübra can't afford the lawyer.

I'm facing a citizenship application. My hearing is scheduled for April, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $600. I have been told by three legal-aid offices that their waiting list is longer than my deadline.
I have all of my paperwork ready, and my caseworker at The Hague Welcome Centre has confirmed that my case is valid.
If I miss the deadline I could lose my right to stay with my family and my job. My children were born here and this is the only home they know.
I'll share any non-sensitive updates as the case moves along.
The money goes to the immigration attorney's trust account and the court filing office. I'll upload receipts with sensitive details removed.
Where the $600 goes:
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $150
• Filing and biometrics fees: $270
• Certified translations and document copies: $180
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thank you all. We're at 63% now ($378). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward filing and biometrics fees. - Kübra
Wanted to say thank you properly. 60% funded and I met with the attorney and confirmed the amounts. - Kübra
21% there. I met with the attorney and confirmed the amounts. Thank you.

Rooting for you. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Kathmandu donated after I showed her your page
