Christian was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Akron University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Christian is 53, worked as a taxi driver until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Akron University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $3,000 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $1,050 • Scans and lab work: $930 • Transport to Akron University Hospital: $480 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $540 Thank you for reading my story.
