Chhaya's multiple myeloma treatment fund

Chhaya was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September. The oncology team at Amritsar Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Chhaya is 46, worked as a bakery worker until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Amritsar Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,500 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $910
• Scans and lab work: $100
• Transport to Amritsar Regional Medical Center: $90
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135
• Household costs while unable to work: $265

Good news. Because of your gifts ($51 in total) I met with the treatment center and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
