Chhaya needs a partial thyroidectomy at Coimbatore General Hospital and the family is $1,300 short of the hospital's estimate.

Chhaya was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in August. The surgeon at Coimbatore General Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,300 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Coimbatore General Hospital since August. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without a partial thyroidectomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Chhaya struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Chhaya won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
