Tumusiime served six years in the marines and was discharged in 2025 with chronic tinnitus. He has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $600.
Tumusiime is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $600 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $90
• Essential household items: $85
• Training provider fees: $425
Every share and every dollar helps.
