Charlotte's thyroid cancer treatment fund

Charlotte was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in March. The oncology team at Newport Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Charlotte is 27, worked as a bus conductor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Newport Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $8,250 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $260
• Transport to Newport Regional Medical Center: $410
• Scans and lab work: $580
