Rochester
Charles was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August. The oncology team at the Rochester Oncology Institute has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Charles is 42, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Rochester Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $2,750 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $740 • Transport to the Rochester Oncology Institute: $980 • Scans and lab work: $1,030 If you're reading this, thank you.
