Charikleia needs a cutting table and overlocker to reopen a sewing studio
Charikleia lost a cutting table and overlocker to a long illness and repossession and needs $1,600 to reopen a sewing studio and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a sewing studio in Piraeus. In April, a long illness and repossession took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Replacing a cutting table and overlocker: $1,100
• Initial stock: fabric: $200
• Shop repairs and licensing: $125
• Working capital for the first month: $175

Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Lalitpur this morning. God bless
Thinking of you. Hope the shop reopens soon. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
is there anything that isn't money that would help Charikleia?
So sorry you're going through this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Piraeus.
Stay strong, Charikleia. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Sending good thoughts, Charikleia. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. All the best.
