Chandler winter storm relief - the Harbor district
Neighbors in the Harbor district are rebuilding after the winter storm; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The winter storm hit the Harbor district on 30 June. My home was one of 48 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $6,850 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,850
• Clean water and purification supplies: $760
• Tools and labor for repairs: $2,000
• Food parcels for displaced families: $1,240
Thanks for being kind about this.

Hang in there, Luna. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Birmingham.
Hope things get better soon, Luna. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Good luck, Luna. This could happen to any of us.
