Chai's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

Chai earned a place in the first year of senior school at Chiang Mai Technical College, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the chemistry course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $250, which is more than they have. Chai loves chemistry and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. He will take care of everything given and works very hard. Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag. Where the $250 goes: • Laptop: $145 • School uniform and shoes: $25 • Textbooks and workbooks: $55 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $25 With deep gratitude, Pranee
