Chae-won was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in March. The surgeon at Seoul General Hospital recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,450, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $3,350 short.
my mother has been in and out of Seoul General Hospital since March. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,450 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Chae-won struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Chae-won won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.

Sure. The biggest one is travel and lodging for the family, $125. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Let me know if you want more detail.
