Cem's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Cem needs knee replacement surgery at Istanbul Community Hospital and the family is $1,850 short of the hospital's estimate.

Cem was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in January. The surgeon at Istanbul Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and He is scheduled for April. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,700, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,850 short.
my son has been in and out of Istanbul Community Hospital since January. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Cem struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Cem won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
