Cedar Primary School needs a community garden - Nora's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $2,100 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $2,100.
It will serve about 305 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in July and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $2,100 goes:
• Materials: $1,050
• Permits and inspections: $250
• Safety equipment and signage: $270
• Tools hire and delivery: $530
