Cedar Primary School needs a community fridge - Emine's neighborhood project

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $200. It will serve about 414 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $200 goes: • Safety equipment and signage: $90 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $85 Thanks for reading all this.
