Cedar Park needs a skate park - Rick's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $2,450 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 9 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,450. It will serve about 517 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $2,450 goes: • Materials: $1,500 • Permits and inspections: $260 • Safety equipment and signage: $250 • Tools hire and delivery: $440 Every share and every dollar helps.
