In August I was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections. My surgeon at Saint Catherine Hospital recommended cataract surgery, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $4,300, and after what my employer's plan will pay, I'm still $3,450 short.
Doctors at Saint Catherine Hospital told me a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without cataract surgery. I work as a hotel cleaner, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $4,300 is far beyond what I've.
