Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Narayan

Narayan has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Narayan can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Narayan's family will cook lunch for the team. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
