Caroline's knee replacement surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill

Caroline was diagnosed with severe cataracts in both eyes in July. The surgeon at Kasarani Community Hospital recommended knee replacement surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,100, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,250 short.
my mother has been in and out of Kasarani Community Hospital since July. The doctors say severe cataracts in both eyes will get worse without knee replacement surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,100 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Caroline struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Caroline won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
