Carlos's acute lymphoblastic leukemia treatment fund
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Contagem Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Carlos was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in April. The oncology team at Contagem Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in June. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Carlos is 34, worked as a hairdresser until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Contagem Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $530
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $160
• Household costs while unable to work: $510
Thanks for reading all this.

Thinking of you and your family, Luciana. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Hope this works out for you. Wish I lived closer to Pelotas so I could bring a meal. Blessings.
