Carlos needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Carlos independence - we're $200 away.

Carlos lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at Celaya General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $200.
His current equipment is 15 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 10 weeks.
With the right equipment Carlos could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $200 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $40
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $120
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Hang in there, Irene. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Pasig
wishing Carlos a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Take care.
Sending love, Irene. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Thinking of Celaya.
