Carlo was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in February. The oncology team at Mandaue Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in April. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Carlo is 50, worked as a shop owner until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mandaue Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,450 goes: • Scans and lab work: $220 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $830 • Household costs while unable to work: $400 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
