Carla earned a place in Form 4 at Rome International School; we're $750 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Form 4 at Rome International School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $750, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a marine biologist. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $750 goes:
• Laptop: $370
• School uniform and shoes: $150
• Textbooks and workbooks: $175
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $55
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Carla
It's all in the list in the story. laptop is the big one at $370, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. It helps to be asked.
So sorry you're going through this, Carla. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
Thinking of you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Carla?
Thank you. If you're in Rome I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Let me know if you want more detail.
thinking of you. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Rome.
Stay strong, Carla. Good luck with the exams, you've got this. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Lazio. I'll ask around and let you know
