Care for Thomas, 76: help cover a carer and medication in Santa Fe

I'm caring for my father, who's 76. After a diagnosis of dementia Thomas can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Thomas desperately wants to stay at home. I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer. Thomas worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
