Sergio can't afford the care He needs after worsening Parkinson's disease; we're asking for $2,750.

I'm caring for me, who's 91. After worsening Parkinson's disease Sergio can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Sergio desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Sergio worked all of his life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,850
• Medication and prescriptions: $360
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $175
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $365
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

So sorry you're going through this. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Kathmandu this morning!
