Care for Serenity, 86: help cover a carer and medication in Manchester
Serenity, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 86. After a fall and hip fracture Serenity can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Serenity desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Serenity worked all of her life as a bus driver, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Part-time carer (four months): $1,900
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $395

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Serenity.
Hospital bed and mattress rental is $155 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Let me know if you want more detail.
