Care for Onyango, 77: help cover a carer and medication in Embakasi
Help Onyango stay in his own home with eight months of part-time care.

I'm caring for me, who's 77. After worsening Parkinson's disease Onyango can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Onyango desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Onyango worked all of his life as a carpenter, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $90
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $75
• Part-time carer (eight months): $885
With deep gratitude,
Onyango

Sending good thoughts, Onyango. Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update
You're not alone, Onyango. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Thika
