Care for Michael, 90: help cover a carer and medication in Bellevue
Help Michael stay in his own home with three months of part-time care.

I'm caring for me, who's 90. After worsening Parkinson's disease Michael can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Michael desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Michael worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,150 goes:
• Part-time carer (three months): $3,650
• Medication and prescriptions: $630
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $390
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $480
