Care for Marisol, 86: help cover a carer and medication in A Coruña
Marisol, 86, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $2,050 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 86. After a heart attack Marisol can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Marisol desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Marisol worked all of her life as a seamstress, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.

• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,510
