I'm caring for my mother, who's 96. After a diagnosis of dementia Kelly can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Kelly desperately wants to stay at home. I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer. Kelly worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back. Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference. Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies. Where the $1,400 goes: • Part-time carer (three months): $840 • Medication and prescriptions: $250 • Hospital bed and mattress rental: $115 • Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $195 If you're reading this, thank you.

                • Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Put this on a community board in London this morning. Take care!
