Care for Jonathan, 88: help cover a carer and medication in Chicago
Help Jonathan stay in his own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my father, who's 88. After a fall and hip fracture Jonathan can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jonathan desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 30 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Jonathan worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,050 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $3,600
• Medication and prescriptions: $650
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $340
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $460
