Care for Jonathan, 75: help cover a carer and medication in Rochester

I'm caring for my father, who's 75. After worsening Parkinson's disease Jonathan can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Jonathan desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Jonathan worked all of his life as a shopkeeper, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,900
• Medication and prescriptions: $730
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $440
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $430
