Guadalupe, 82, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $1,450 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 82. After worsening Parkinson's disease Guadalupe can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Guadalupe desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Guadalupe worked all of her life as a shopkeeper, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $120
• Part-time carer (eight months): $1,150
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $180
