Care for Dustin, 77: help cover a carer and medication in Springfield

I'm caring for my father, who's 77. After a stroke last August Dustin can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Dustin desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 40 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Dustin worked all of his life as a farmer, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $5,350 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $4,250
• Medication and prescriptions: $540
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $380
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $180
