Care for Devi, 88: help cover a carer and medication in Rohini
Devi, 88, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $500 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 88. After a stroke last April Devi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Devi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 50 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Devi worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for three months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $500 goes:
• Medication and prescriptions: $80
• Part-time carer (three months): $360
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $60
