A prosthetic leg would give Busisiwe independence - we're $150 away.

Busisiwe lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Richards Bay Mobility Clinic has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150. Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Busisiwe could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $150 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $70 • Delivery and set-up: $55 • Fitting and training sessions: $25 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Devi

Thanks for sharing this. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My neighbor in Medellín donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
