Bushfire in Newcastle: help the Greenfield district rebuild
Neighbors in the Greenfield district are rebuilding after the bushfire; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The bushfire hit the Greenfield district on 24 November. My home was one of 87 damaged, and 2 families are still in temporary shelter at a mosque and church hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $3,750 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $670
• Tools and labor for repairs: $730
• Roofing sheets and timber: $2,350
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Shared it with a few friends. After 11 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Newcastle
You're not alone, Ngân. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. God bless.
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 34 people at work. All the best
Sending love, Ngân. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
Wishing you peace, Ngân. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in.
Sending love, Ngân. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Thanks for sharing this, Ngân. Looking forward to the next update.
